  1. Check out the menu system on your web site - is scrambled on a my systems

    I've tested on a few systems - all in Chrome... Windows and Linux... the menu system on http://rbwhitaker.wikidot.com/ is 'bunching up'. It looks fine on my Android. I can test on more platforms if you'd like and would be happy to send a screen shot.

  2. Fix grammar. :)

    In more math section under division by zero you have this error.

    "program will die, then and there,"
    should be
    "program will die, then end there,"

  5. Thank you for the great tutorials. They are well explained.

    I have followed the Coursera C#/Monogame course and the Microsoft c# course and would like to state that your tutorials withe code snippets and the simple well structured explanations are by far the bestI have followed up to now. many thanks and good Karma.

  6. Make tutorials that involve something the user can see be executed. It's all abstract unless I can see something executed.

    What's the point of a tutorial or programming if it doesn't do anything. I downloaded, unzipped, and tried to run the classes program, but it doesn't do anything. What's the point?

  7. Collision Detection with Circle code help

    Hi I'm trying to follow along with the tutorial but I've come across a problem to where Vector2 doesn't exist. I added "using Microsoft.Xna.Framework" but it only results in an error where Xna.Framework doesn't exist.

    P.S. I'm using Console Application with Visual Studio 2015

  11. fix a C# tutorial error

    There is a line in the "more math" portion of the C# tutorial that states: "Imagine you have a very large floating point number. Something like 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. A float can store that number." Ummm. I don't think it can. I even tried it with ulong and decimal and it failed. Why such an astronomically large number? This is in the Overflow and Underflow section.

  12. Add this 3D model search engine as a game development resource (https://www.yobi3d.com)

    It lets you search by text keywords and return 3D models hosted on different sites on the Internet. You can also click on the search result to see a 3D rendering of the model and rotate the model around with mouse.

  13. Xbox Controller Vibration

    In this tutorial about vibration, you said it's easy, but it doesn't work.

    I use Microsoft Visual C#2010 Express, but it seems I'm not alone with this trouble

  14. Put code samples on GitHub

    I think it may be a good idea to put the code samples onto GitHub. This would make it easy for anyone to fork the code, or even contribute new sample code, or corrections to code via a Pull Request.

  15. The tutorials "What's Next" sections are haphazard to follow!

    Some tuts have "next tutorial" as a link in the "what's next" section but some don't. I had to spend 5 minutes combing through previous material to be sure I didn't miss anything.

  16. Update the delegates tutorial because it's not the most understandable tutorial in the C# Crash Course.

    In talking with somebody via email, it has become incredibly clear to me that this tutorial is actually pretty weak. I needs some code that puts everything together at the end, and it probably also needs to just have a different sample. I don't think that MagicNumber thing really captures the power of delegates very well.

  19. Be more specific about mesh-by-mesh animation

    I don't understand clearly why you use some additional matrices for the tail rotor of the chopper:

    meshWorldMatrices[2] = Matrix.CreateTranslation(new Vector3(0, -0.25f, -3.4f)) *
    Matrix.CreateRotationX(tailRotorAngle) *
    Matrix.CreateTranslation(new Vector3(0, 0.25f, 3.4f));

    translating to origin, rotate, translating back... is quite weird.
    Is there any way to get pivot point of the mesh and use a simple rotation on one axis (kind of Matrix.CreateRotationX(tailRotorAngle) alone without the two translations)

    I confess I have not played yet with mesh on my own, but modding for games taught me to set-up dedicated pivot points for moving sub-meshes, which makes a lot more sense.

    Thanks.
